Core Barrel with Rock Bits, generally used to cut low fracturecd hard rock formation and partially fragmented medium hard rock formation, suitable for cutiing fissured rock.

Core Barrel with Rollers, generally used to cut very hard fractured, hard rock, formation with compressive strength.

Core Barrel with Cross Cutter, mainly to used for break rock cores which remain in the borehole after using a core barrel. The core is broken with round shank picks, The cutting are removed with heavy duty buckets. It's also suitable for drilling hard, jointed rock and for penetrating through layers containing boulders.
